Within the Burgundy Jazz programming, L’Autre Montréal and Catbird Productions propose a walk in the past through the heart of Jazz history starting right by Little Burgundy where black community finds its roots in Montreal. Take a stroll with us and hear tales of famous Downtown clubs like the Rockhead's Paradise, Louis Metcalf’s International Band, who introduced the be-bop style to the country, and the creation of our renowned Jazz Festival in the 1980s. Come discover our rich musical history, accompanied by a passionate and knowledgeable jazz tour guide!
